WHERE IT ALL RHYMES
THE LADIES OF THE LAKE
Katrina was a gentle soul, swirling over sea,
As was Rita chasing dolphins, playing happily.
And what of Jeanne and Isabel, Lili and Isadore,
all such lovely ladies til they ventured onto shore.
Oh why such rage from natures girls
such carnage and destruction
why such violence from the swirls
to hamper mans production.
With clasping grasp they pull apart
the fibres of our home
In blinks of eyes they tear to size
our Athens and our Romes.
Our cities have no consequence
perhaps that is the reason
in Nature's view of me and you
we're all committing treason.
Sinning against the laws of land
by building huts of straw
So Nature can just take it back
and say to us no more.
For every we time that we rebuild
our empires stretching longer
The ladies of the Lakes return
angrier, wilder and stronger.
