CLIMBING JACOB'S LADDER
From the body of an Angel Shone the figure of a Saint With a purity and innocence No man could ever taint
In a frail and tiny body Looking vulnerable and weak Hides the courage of a Lion To inspire the young and meek
Take a lesson from our Jacob Take this though with you this night From our first breaths on arrival We continue life's big fight
From the bottom of the ladder In a bid to reach the top Keep your friends and love around you For the battle will not stop
So as Jacob faces his ladder Taking one day at a time Just believe his tiny courage And he's sure to make the climb
